"Malaga Road" (Calle Málaga) - The award-winning Spanish drama by Maryam Touzani comes to Pantheon Theatre in Nicosia, Cyprus. A moving story about dignity, memories and love that knows no age limits.
79-year-old Maria Angeles finds her life threatened when her daughter arrives from Madrid to sell her beloved house. Refusing to be uprooted, she begins a struggle to preserve her life, memories and dignity while unexpectedly rediscovering love and desire.
The film, following "The Blue Caftan" by the same director, won the Audience Award at Venice Film Festival 2025 and is Morocco's official entry for the 2026 Academy Awards. Stars Carmen Maura, Marta Etura and Ahmed Boulane in this compelling 116-minute drama.

Marta EturaMarta Etura is a Spanish actress born in San Sebastián in 1974. She gained international recognition for her role in Jaume Balagueró's thriller "Sleep Tight" (2011) and further visibility through her appearances in the globally successful Netflix series "Money Heist" (La Casa de Papel).
