Bill Viola. Unspoken

The exhibition opens on April 24, 2026, and runs through August 1, 2026.

Bill Viola, a pioneer and one of the most influential masters of video art, has transformed the moving image into a philosophical tool capable of addressing the deepest questions of human existence. His career began in the early 1970s, an era when technology was often associated with speed, fragmentation, and spectacle; yet he chose slowness, inner reflection, and contemplation.

The exhibition “Bill Viola. The Unspoken” was commissioned by the PSI Foundation and curated by the PSI Foundation’s chief curator, Dmitry Ozerkov, in close collaboration with Bill Viola’s studio. It brings together a selection of key works spanning the artist’s entire career and invites viewers to immerse themselves in his unique language of time, perception, and transformation
