Global Running Day: Community Run in Nicosia

Join the Global Running Day celebration with a community run event in Nicosia's Eleftheria Square on June 3, 2026. Free entry.

The first Wednesday of June is dedicated as "Global Running Day". APOEL Running Team, as it has established in recent years, celebrates this day with a group run in Nicosia, bringing together the entire running community of Cyprus.

With support and sponsorship from X-Cars and co-organised by the Municipal Council, we meet on Wednesday June 3 at 7:00 PM at the Square. Running at a relaxed pace for a 5-kilometer route within the walls of old Nicosia.

We'll tour the old city before finishing back at Eleftheria Square. In an unprecedented running celebration, we'll party at the capital's square together with all the running movements of Cyprus for Global Running Day.
