Book Club Meeting: Project Ave Maria

At the upcoming meeting, dedicated to science fiction, we will discuss Andy Weyer’s novel Project Ave Maria.

Railand Grace comes to his senses aboard a spaceship. He doesn’t remember his name and has no idea how he got there. The only thing he knows for sure is that he was asleep, and now he’s awake, accompanied by a couple of dead bodies. Memories come back to him in fragmented images… It seems he used to work as a schoolteacher, and then… damn it, what happened next?
Finally piecing together the sequence of events, Ryland is horrified by the magnitude of the task entrusted to him—to prevent the extinction of the human race. This extremely difficult mission is a one-way ticket, and he will never return to Earth. And it seems there is no help to be found. (c)
