Ecological Festival of Lakatameia

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the 15th Lakatamia Environmental Festival will take place in St. George Park. This vibrant event for the whole family is organized by the Municipality of Lakatamia in collaboration with the schools of Tseri and Antoupoli.
The festival invites you to immerse yourself in the world of ecology through creativity and play:
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about protecting forests, water resources, and preserving bee and migratory bird populations. Expert organizations will participate in the festival, including the Department of Forests, the Department of Water Management, the Office of the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, and others.
The event is held under the auspices of the Commissioner for the Environment and Animal Welfare, Ms. Antonia Theodosiu, with the support of Allwyn.
Through activities, presentations, and creative performances by schoolchildren, this year’s festival aims to convey the message that environmental protection concerns us all and begins in our daily lives.
