“22 Lengths” (German: 22 Bahnen) is a 2025 German drama based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Caroline Wall. The film tells the story of two sisters trying to cope with life alongside their alcoholic mother.

Starring: Luna Wedler (as Tilda) and Yannis Niewoner.
Plot: 22-year-old Tilda takes on the responsibility of caring for her younger sister, Ida. Her life is scheduled down to the minute: studying, working at a supermarket, taking care of her family, and swimming regularly at the pool (always exactly 22 laps). The prospect of earning a doctorate in Berlin and a new relationship promise her freedom, but the situation at home begins to spiral out of control.
