NAZA: Documentary Screening in Nicosia

NAZA is a landmark documentary screening in Nicosia, Cyprus at the Pantheon Theatre throughout November 2026, directed by the Oscar-winning filmmakers behind No Other Land. The film draws on testimony from 24 anonymous Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers, offering an unflinching look at the military systems used to surveil and kill Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Their identities are digitally protected, and they sketch the systems by hand as they speak.

Directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, the film examines the machinery of war rather than individual incidents. The camera never leaves Tel Aviv — a city living normally — while Gaza, some 60 km away, is present only through its absence. The title derives from a Hebrew military acronym for "collateral damage," a term the directors argue obscures the deliberate and calculated nature of the killings. Their description of the events as genocide is the filmmakers' own position.
