About This Event
The «Dipla Siffona» (Double Consonants) discussion series wraps up its first season in Nicosia, Cyprus, with a celebratory closing party at YALLA Collective Space & Café on Thursday, 16 July 2026, starting at 20:00. It's a night dedicated to the Cypriot dialect, identity, and community — and it promises to be a memorable send-off for the season.
The evening features live music by Alejjos, a language-and-image quiz in Cypriot dialect curated by Elena Ioannidou and Nikos Philippou, and a short poetry intervention by Emily Demetriou. The spirit of the night? A group therapy session for our Cypriot consciousness. 🎶
