September Music Talks: Hector Berlioz

On September 8, the next event in the Music Talks series will take place, dedicated to one of the most prominent figures in 19th-century French music—the composer and conductor Hector Berlioz.

Together with invited guests, we will discuss Berlioz’s life and work, his musical legacy, and the significance of his compositions. This will be an evening for those who love music, are interested in art history, and simply want to spend time in a pleasant atmosphere enjoying interesting conversation and a glass of wine.

Participants in the discussion will include:
— Joseph Hadjikiriakos — Curator of the Stavridis Archive, Larnaca
— Demetrios Michaelides — Professor Emeritus of Archaeology at the University of Cyprus
— Costas Severis — President of the Costas and Rita Severis Foundation

The event will take the form of an open conversation, where attendees can listen, share their impressions, and exchange views on Berlioz’s music.
