About This Event
Nicosia Municipality presents Summer Nights 2026, a sprawling free-entry arts and culture festival that transforms neighbourhoods across Nicosia, Cyprus into vibrant open-air stages from July through September. Squares, parks, historic sites and public spaces across the districts of Nicosia, Aglantzia, Engomi and Agios Dometios host an impressive lineup of concerts, theatre performances, dance evenings and photography exhibitions. The festival is an open invitation to residents and visitors alike to rediscover the city's public spaces through the power of culture.
The programme spans more than twenty individual events, featuring Cypriot and international artists performing across multiple neighbourhood venues. Highlights include live music across genres from jazz and classical to blues and rock, theatrical comedies, choral performances, photography exhibitions — including the award-winning 4th International Photography Marathon of Nicosia — and a special tribute concert to legendary Greek composers and poets. The festival's core mission is to make culture freely accessible to all and to celebrate and promote Cypriot artistic talent.
