A science weekend at the planetarium

On 5 and 6 September 2026, The Cyprus
Planetarium will be transformed into a huge interactive science laboratory and
open-air amusement park.

Programme:
A real chemistry and physics laboratory
for children aged 6–14.
Secret experiments in the dark using glow-in-the-dark
items.
Any show on the planetarium’s huge full-dome screen
and an immersive virtual reality experience in the VR 360 zone.
Artists from Neverland Circus will teach you
how to juggle, spin hoops and perform tricks on aerial silks.
Microcontroller programming, an introduction to
the DexArm robotic arm and the technologies of the future.
Live observations of sunspots through
a professional helioscope.
Giant trampolines, a climbing wall, and a photo zone with
dinosaurs.
