The Symphonians Chamber Orchestra: The World of Hayao Miyazaki’s Music

Miyazaki’s legendary animated films are an entire universe, filled with wonder, emotion and music that no one can forget. The stunning soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi and other composers from the films «Spirited Away», «My Neighbor Totoro», «Howl’s Moving Castle» and others will be performed live by The Symphonians chamber orchestra.

Music from Miyazaki’s world transports listeners to very different places - from the sky above the sea in «Porco Rosso» to Yubaba’s mysterious bathhouse and the warm scenes of «Kiki’s Delivery Service». Tender and lyrical, grand and dramatic, it moves adults and children alike.

“These concerts will be a true musical journey through familiar stories,” the organizers note.
