Sonic Punishment - music at the intersection of jazz, rock, and folk

The young Dutch trio Sonic Punishment, founded by drummer and composer Adonis David Christou, will perform at Technopolis 20.

The musicians blend jazz, rock, and elements of traditional music in their work. Their compositions are characterized by complex rhythms, unusual time signatures, and polyrhythms, yet they remain emotional and lively.

Improvisation and the interaction between the musicians play a special role in the trio’s music. Thanks to this, every performance becomes a unique journey where new musical ideas and unexpected combinations of sounds are born.

Lineup:
• Adonis David Christou — drums
• Katal Cradden — keyboards
• Elho Hendrosuseno — electric bass

The musicians met in 2024 and have been searching for their own sound ever since, blending different musical traditions with contemporary styles.
Admission: €15
