About This Event
The performance is a stage-based exploration of the idea of the end of civilization and the dark forces that run through human history. Taking Euripides' conception of Pentheus' dismembered body as its starting point, the research unfolds through a dialogue with texts from philosophy, religion, mythology, history and tragedy, as well as visual artworks and historical documents from different eras.
