Antikristo. A Play

On 1 October, the play «Antikristo» will be staged at Tala Amphitheatre - an unusual story in which humour, tension and human characters intertwine against the backdrop of a very real threat.

The action unfolds in a garden near Larnaca, where seven completely different people find themselves together due to an emergency. A flood alert has been declared in the area, while the most unexpected events are happening around the protagonists at the same time.

As the traditional dish «antikristo» is being prepared, an unexpected visitor appears, while a bulldozer is already standing nearby, ready to demolish the illegal structures. In these unusual circumstances, the protagonists gradually stop hiding their true feelings, personalities and relationships with one another.

Will they manage to get out of this difficult situation and achieve the «supremacy» that will change their lives?

The production combines theatrical humour, social themes and elements of contemporary Cypriot reality, turning a familiar everyday story into a dynamic theatrical performance.

The event is part of additional performances of «Antikristo», organised due to strong public interest.
