Joan Català's interactive show

An innovative performance that breaks down the boundaries between contemporary dance, circus, theatre and traditional crafts, by Catalan artist Joan Català, featuring his renowned street performance "Pelat".
Joan Català is a well-known Spanish performer and visual artist. He grew up in a craft environment, which significantly influenced his creative work: in his performances, he often uses primitive materials (wood, iron, soil) and explores the physical capabilities of the human body in space.

At the heart of the entire performance is an ordinary wooden log. Joan Català interacts with it before the audience's eyes, demonstrating incredible strength, balance and agility.

This performance cannot be imitated or performed by one person alone. It is based on the active participation of spectators. Ordinary passers-by from the crowd become direct participants in the performance, helping the artist hold the log, balance it and create a collective artistic action right in the street.
