About This Event
At the ArtCargo 2026 festival in Nicosia, the work of renowned Cypriot choreographer and performer Evi Demetriou will be presented with her solo production "On Air".
A solo performance of contemporary dance, physical and conceptual theatre, adapted for open urban spaces.
"On Air" explores the theme of public exposure, constantly being under the scrutiny of others, and how modern media and social pressure affect a person's personal boundaries. Through body movement, voice and motion, Evi Demetriou poses questions to the audience about authenticity and the masks people wear in their lives.
