The Little Worm and the Human Voice

About This Event
Chrysi and Skoulikoula are touring to introduce children to the human voice as a musical instrument through an interactive process that teaches them about the dynamic possibilities of their voices. At the end of the performance, children (and parents!) will be able to answer questions such as how many vocal cords humans have, how the voice is produced, what a soprano or a tenor sounds like, what four-part harmony is, etc.
The original songs of this interactive performance were written to enhance musical perception and promote knowledge of the voice as an instrument through entertainment. It is a ventriloquism performance unlike any previously seen in Cyprus (ventriloquism is the art that describes the process in which a puppeteer speaks without moving their mouth and the puppet speaks "as if by magic"). The event is approved by the Ministry of Education.
