AglanJazz 2026. The Big Jazz Night

On October 10, Skali Aglantzias will once again be filled with live music, improvisation, and a wide variety of jazz styles.

This year, AglanJazz brings together five musical groups on one stage. In a single evening, you’ll be able to hear everything from classic swing and contemporary jazz to fusion, soul, funk, rock, and world music.

The program:
7:00–7:40 p.m. — Steppin’ Out Jazz Band
The musicians will open the festival with a program dedicated to the legendary Duke Ellington—one of the most influential composers and bandleaders in the history of jazz.

7:50–8:30 p.m. — Pocket Migration
Contemporary fusion jazz with an electric sound, improvisation, and original compositions.

8:40–9:20 p.m. — The Charis Ioannou Quartet
The quartet will perform primarily original music. In a few days, the group will travel to Berlin, where they will represent Cyprus at the My Unique Jazz Festival.

9:30–10:10 p.m. — Fuzz Bus
A special performance for the band: the musicians will present their debut album, Love Revolution, which blends jazz, soul, funk, and rock.

10:30 PM–11:10 PM — MOCA
The evening will conclude with a performance by MOCA—music at the intersection of jazz and world music, including new material recorded in 2026.

Ticket prices: The price for the 2026 edition is not yet listed on the festival’s current website. Therefore, it’s best to check it right before purchasing.

Food and drinks will also be available on-site, so you can spend the entire evening here—listening to music, meeting up with friends, and enjoying the festival atmosphere.

AglanJazz has historically been organized by the Municipality of Aglantzia; the festival was founded by the municipality in 2007 to promote local and European jazz musicians.

If you’d like to spend an October evening enjoying live jazz—rather than just attending a regular concert—AglanJazz is a great option for a musical evening in Nicosia.
