About This Event
For one night only, Natalie Haynes' Sunday Times bestseller Stone Blind comes to life as a theatrical reading at the Cyprus Museum in Nicosia, Cyprus, on Sunday 11 October 2026. Directed by Magdalena Zira and Athena Kasiou, this is the first-ever presentation of the work in the Greek language.
Free entry.
What was Medusa's story before she became the monster of myth? Stone Blind retells the ancient tale entirely from her perspective, with sharp wit and emotional depth. Described by Margaret Atwood as "clever, gripping, merciless," the book has captivated readers worldwide — and now it arrives in Cyprus in a uniquely immersive form.
Over 20 performers will narrate simultaneously at different points throughout the Museum, with readings looping continuously. Audiences move freely through the space, choosing their own path and creating their own experience — until stories, characters and spectators converge to confront the truth behind the myth.
