Bang!

After a mine explodes inside the buffer zone, two men - a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriot - find themselves trapped in a minefield. The explosion has temporarily caused them to lose their hearing, leaving them unable to communicate. Without knowing each other's identity, they try to understand one another and survive.

As communication proves difficult, misunderstandings and comic, yet moving moments arise. The play sensitively explores themes such as coexistence, identity and reconciliation, highlighting the power of human communication beyond dividing lines.
