    About This Event

Blue Indigo is a dance and performance work exploring neurodiversity through authentic testimonies, running from 7-27 November 2026 at Dancehouse Lefkosia in Nicosia.

Blue Indigo is a "window" into the world of neurodiversity through authentic testimonies, revealing its particularities, but also the deeply rooted ideas about acceptance, abilities, vulnerability, kinship, the "normal" and the "different".

It is a work about the human desire to connect, to restore and to liberate the "abilities" and "inabilities" of body and mind, memories, desires and impulses, through the tenderness of introspection and the intensity of repetition.

It is an invitation into a world, as familiar as it is different, where movement, rhythmic and repetitive, at times recalls the sea, the flight of birds, a whirl or a fall, at times a lullaby and an embrace, and at times avoidance, isolation, struggle and loss.

All people's stories are ours as they emerge and alternate like waves. Blue Indigo becomes a journey of encounter, inclusion, acceptance and celebration.
