The Satiriko Theatre's Main Stage in Nicosia, Cyprus, presents the delightful comedy The Lie (Le Mensonge) by award-winning French playwright Florian Zeller, directed by Marianna Kavkaridou. The production runs from its premiere on Saturday 7 November 2026 through Sunday 20 December 2026, with performances every Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
Two couples, a dinner party, and a secret that could turn everything upside down. With fast-paced dialogue, twists and unexpected confessions, Zeller crafts an intelligent game of deception and negotiation with reality. Suspicion and doubt keep shifting the ground beneath each character's feet, pulling them into an enjoyable spiral of misunderstandings and revelations. In the end, neither the characters nor the audience can be entirely sure who is telling the truth — and who is telling the best lie.
