This hiking event in Limassol, Cyprus, follows a linear mountain route from the Papoutsa area to Agios Konstantinos on 29 March 2026. Because the starting point and finish are far apart, EOS will arrange a coach, and advance seat reservation is required by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 27 March.
The route is approximately 13 kilometres long and takes around 5 hours to complete, with elevation difference reaching 882 metres. Hikers ascend to the summit of Papoutsa at 1554 metres, continue along the ridge with wide panoramic views, stop at the hideouts for a break, and finish at Agios Konstantinos.
Much of the walk takes place on the ridgeline, with steep uphill and downhill sections, which is why it is rated difficulty level 3, a high-difficulty hike with demanding terrain features. Required equipment includes hiking boots, preferably ankle boots, poles, a hat, sunglasses, and at least 1 litre of water.
The area also carries historical significance, as Grigoris Afxentiou operated there, and two hideouts remain in the area after his move from Spilia. The landscape includes wild vegetation such as rockrose, thorny broom and pine trees, while vineyards appear closer to Agios Konstantinos, mainly linked to Commandaria production.
