Buy TicketsThis live music event in Nicosia and Limassol, Cyprus marks the opening of Alkinos Ioannidis' summer tour, with two consecutive concerts on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, 2026. The first takes place at the Amphitheatre of Lakatamia in Nicosia, the second at the Ancient Theatre of Kourion in Limassol — both starting at 21:00, with doors opening at 20:00.
Joining Alkinos Ioannidis on stage are four Cypriot musicians whose combined palette of strings, percussion, oud, and keys brings a fresh and distinctly different approach to his repertoire. The set is shaped by new arrangements that move freely between intensity and tenderness, with improvisation and musical dialogue — between the performers and with the audience — at the heart of the experience. Each concert runs approximately 2.5 hours.

Lefteris Moumtzis is one of the most important figures in Cypriot music, a composer, lyricist, and singer whose work has shaped the sound of Greek Cypriot popular song for over three decades. With an extraordinary output spanning hundreds of songs recorded by major Greek and Cypriot artists, Moumtzis is regarded as a master craftsman of melodic composition and emotional songwriting. He has performed at the Ancient Kourion Theatre — one of the most breathtaking open-air venues in the Mediterranean — where the ancient stone amphitheatre amplifies both the music and its emotional resonance.
Giannis Koutis is a Greek singer and performer known for his warm interpretive style and his connection to the traditions of Greek popular music. His performance at the Ancient Kourion Theatre in Cyprus — a magnificent 2nd-century Roman amphitheatre overlooking the Mediterranean Sea — placed him on one of the most extraordinary stages in the world. Kourion's acoustics and its dramatic clifftop setting make any performance there a landmark event, and Koutis delivered an evening that combined musical quality with the theatre's unmatched historical atmosphere.
Alkinos Ioannidis (Αλκίνοος Ιωαννίδης) is one of Cyprus's most celebrated singer-songwriters, born in Nicosia in 1966. Renowned for setting poetry to music — from ancient Greek texts to contemporary verse — his work spans Greek folk, rock, and classical influences. A cultural icon across Cyprus and Greece, his concerts at landmark venues like the Ancient Kourion Theatre are major events drawing audiences from across the island.
