About This Event
This Easter Tuesday community celebration in Kato Deftera, Cyprus takes place at the courtyard of the Chrysospiliotissa Church on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 15:00 to 19:00. Organised by the Deftera Community, the afternoon is filled with traditional games, live music, and dancing — a warm and festive gathering for all ages.
The highlight of the event is a Flaouna Competition open to all participants, with three categories: Traditional (authentic recipe and correct ingredient ratios), Impressive (best appearance and shape), and Modern (for those experimenting with ingredients). Bring your flaouna and compete!
