Little Red Riding Hood returns to tell her own version of the story. “I do not want to ruin fairy tales,” she says, yet she decides to reveal what really happened, hoping that perhaps one soul out there might be spared.

This is a story about the moment she met him, about everything she lost while trying to love and be loved, and about the difficult path back. Along that path, the red cape becomes the trace of an innocence that cannot return. But through loss, she finds the strength to care again for what she loves and the need to reach out to those who are where she once was, transforming darkness into light.

The theatre performance “My Name” revisits the myth of Little Red Riding Hood through a contemporary psychological lens, in dialogue with the poetic world of Jean Cocteau. Through symbolic storytelling, it sheds light on manipulation, abuse, and reclaiming the self.

After the performance, there will be a discussion with the audience about the experience of dysfunctional relationships and empowerment, moderated by Filio Konstantinidou, Registered Counselling Psychologist.
