Antama Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of music, tradition and culture held at the Nicosia Municipal Gardens in Cyprus on 12–13 September 2026. Now in its third edition, the festival brings together people of all ages through live music spanning Cyprus, Greece and the Mediterranean, traditional craft workshops, dance, open discussions, and local food and drink.
Free hands-on workshops in traditional arts and dance run throughout both days, including silversmithing, cross-stitch embroidery, basket weaving from Lividia, silk cocoon weaving, Mediterranean rhythms, the art of the pithkiavli (Cypriot flute), shadow theatre figure-making, and an open discussion on Cypriot traditional music today.
Local Cypriot dishes and drinks will be available on site, including a participatory presentation of the traditional sweet palouzes.
