About This Event

A landmark music event in Nicosia, Cyprus, this open-air concert celebrates the timeless work of legendary Cypriot composer Marios Tokas (1954-2008). The Limassol Contemporary Music Orchestra «Trakart» performs his iconic songs in an evening of live music at the Cultural Stage of the Holy Bishopric of Tamasos and Orinis, in Episkopeio, on Friday, 28 August 2026 at 9:00 PM. The event is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.

Performing vocalists include Rίta Antonopoulou and Giannis Dionisiou, with the Vocal Ensemble «Diastatsi» conducted by Christina Krasidou. Musical direction is by Aris Antoniades, with orchestrations by Neoklis Neofytidis and Aris Antoniades. The concert is part of the «Cultural Summer in Tamasos 2026» programme, organized in collaboration with the Marios Tokas Foundation.
