Kapodistrias: Charity Film Screening

The Volunteer Group «Symporeysi» of the Holy Metropolis of Trimythounta invites the public to a special charity film screening in Nicosia, Cyprus. On Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at 20:00, the Idalion Amphitheatre in Dali will host a screening of the film «Kapodistrias» by acclaimed Greek director Yiannis Smaragdis — a powerful cinematic portrait of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of Greece. The event is held under the auspices of the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Ms Tina Pavlou.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly towards supporting underprivileged students from the metropolitan district. In a generous gesture of inclusion, students, university students, and soldiers are admitted free of charge.
