The Mysteries of the Earth Festival

Under the motto ‘Nature, Knowledge, Research’, the Cyprus Museum of Natural History invites children, families and anyone else who’d like to join in to a special celebration full of games, creativity, discoveries and pleasant surprises.

Festival programme and activities:
Palaeontology and history: an introduction to ancient traces of life that take explorers back millions of years, as well as an exploration of the island’s modern-day animals.
Creative activities using eco-friendly and recyclable materials.
Free access to the museum’s permanent collection, which includes palaeontological finds, minerals, a collection of shells, and taxidermy specimens of birds, fish and mammals from the Mediterranean region.

The aim of this event is to give people the chance to get a little closer to nature and to remember how important it is to understand and protect the world around us. After all, a connection with nature begins with small things: with discovery, play, new knowledge or a child’s perspective, full of curiosity.
