Lords of The Sound. The Music of Hans Zimmer

Music that has become an integral part of world cinema will be performed in Cyprus by the renowned symphony orchestra Lords of the Sound.

From 19 to 23 January 2027, audiences in Paphos, Nicosia and Limassol can look forward to a large-scale musical show dedicated to the work of one of the most renowned contemporary composers, Hans Zimmer.

His music is recognisable from the very first notes. Epic themes, moving melodies and powerful symphonic sound have long been part of beloved films and have become a legend in their own right.

The programme features music from iconic films:
“Dune”, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, “The Dark Knight”, “Interstellar”, “The Lone Ranger”, “Sherlock Holmes”, “Pearl Harbor”, “Gladiator”, “Inception”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron”, “Wonder Woman”, “Madagascar” and many more.

The symphony orchestra, soloists and choir will create a large-scale musical performance on stage, where familiar cinematic themes will sound in a new way. Theatrical elements, impressive special effects, lighting and the musicians' energy will turn the concert into a true show.

This will be a journey through worlds created by Hans Zimmer's music: from the dark streets of Gotham and boundless outer space to the deserts of “Dune” and the dangerous seas of “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
