WIP Festival 2026: Ten Days of Art, Science, and Technology

From October 16 to 25, Nicosia will host the WIP Festival 2026: Flows—a festival that brings together contemporary art, scientific research, technology, and experimental creative practices.

This year’s main theme is “Flows.” The organizers invite visitors to view the world around them as a system of constantly moving flows: water and energy, matter and information, memories, cultural histories, and human interactions.

Special attention is given to issues that are particularly relevant to the Mediterranean region: climate change, water scarcity, environmental changes, migration, technological development, and how information and culture flow between people and countries.

The festival program includes exhibitions, interactive art projects, performances, musical performances, lectures, workshops, and other events at the intersection of art, science, and technology. The festival will last a total of ten days and will take place at several venues in Nicosia’s Old City.

You can view the festival program here: https://2026wip.cyens.org.cy/
