ON AIR in Paphos

Following its first successful performances in Limassol, ON AIR by En Drasei Group continues its journey through public spaces in Paphos, Larnaca and Nicosia. At the same time, the film ON AIR - The Film will be screened at the Synaxis Festival, at Polychoros Synergeio in Limassol.

ON AIR is a series of performances in public spaces, each shaped by the energy of the place, the presence of the audience and the performers' bodies. Each action is unique and composed live, in direct dialogue with the space, sound and the tension of "am I visible or not?".

A performance that explores presence as a means of transmission. Like voices carried by radio waves, bodies pulse through space, emitting fragile, urgent, invisible signals. The body takes on a political dimension and presence - becoming a means of claiming, intervening and actively participating in the public sphere.

The performance unfolds like a "live broadcast": immediate, raw, unstable. It raises questions: what does it mean to be "on air" in a world where everyone is constantly broadcasting? What does it mean to "take up space", to become visible or remain unseen?

ON AIR is an open composition that responds to the moment. It moves along the fine line between action and presence, between "playing" and "being". Public space is not a backdrop, but a conversation partner - filled and transformed by movement, participation and fleeting encounters. Each performance leaves traces: it becomes material, memory and a choreographic foundation for the next. In this way, ON AIR continually evolves, building a body of experience carried from place to place, from community to community.
