About This Event
Solo exhibition by Alexandros Pissouris at Eins Gallery in Limassol, running from 9 October to 15 December 2026, featuring photography, 16mm film and video works.
Solo exhibition by Alexandros Pissouris titled On Second Thoughts. Runs until 15 December. For this exhibition the artist starts from his own domestic environment and drifts into a valley near his home in London, in places where desire and social life meet the natural environment.
Drawn to the transient and the incidental, the objects he lives with, the spaces he lingers in and the people he meets, Pissouris observes, positions himself and films as objects gain presence and small events unfold. One image drifts into another in a series of breaks.
As an artist and filmmaker working with photography, 16mm film and video, based in London and Cyprus, his practice develops in relation to places and bodies to which he systematically returns, moving between observation and direction.
The On Second Thoughts exhibition includes multiple camera exposures, sound loops and frame-by-frame stop-motion shooting.
