Historic City Walks

Limassol’s guided city walk brings together the waterfront and the streets behind it, following the relationship between the port, public art and the historic centre. The route introduces Molos, a longstanding meeting place for residents that now also serves as an open-air sculpture park, with works by Cypriot, Greek and international artists.

From the seafront, the walk passes the old port and Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum. The surrounding stone warehouses offer another view of the city’s history: buildings once associated with trade now accommodate restaurants and exhibition spaces. The route also takes in the Great Mosque, known as Kepir Mosque, Agia Napa Cathedral, the Municipal Market and the pedestrian shopping street of Agiou Andreou.

The walk runs on Thursdays at 10:00, beginning and ending at the Tourist Information Office in Michalis Kakoyianis Square at the old port. Its estimated duration is two and a half hours. Future dates within this listing are 12, 19 and 26 November, followed by 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 December 2026. Tours do not operate on public holidays.
