About This Event
Strovolos Municipality’s new Mountain Hiking Club is beginning its programme with a morning outdoors around Agia Marina Xyliatou dam. The outing brings walkers together on the nature trail surrounding the reservoir, offering a straightforward introduction to the club and its activities.
The route is described as relatively easy and is open to both beginners and experienced hikers. There is no age restriction, although children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent or guardian. Comfortable sportswear and trainers or hiking shoes are recommended. Snacks, water and juice will be provided free of charge.
The trip takes place on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Participants meet at 08:30 in the southern car park of Strovolos Town Hall, behind the post office. The bus leaves at 09:00, with the return scheduled for 13:00.
Participation is free, and places are allocated in booking order. Advance registration is required by Thursday, 5 November at noon: call +357 22318350 or +357 22470322 between 08:00 and 15:00.
