Eleftheria Square

Eleftheria Square is the main public square of Nicosia, redesigned in 2021 by Zaha Hadid Architects. Located at the historic gateway to the walled city, the iconic square features a striking undulating roof over an underground cultural space and hosts major concerts, festivals and national celebrations.
