On the Streets of Gourri

Craftspeople will demonstrate traditional trades and tools. Visitors will have the opportunity to see up close how the pithkiavli (traditional flute) is made, watch potters "bring clay to life", see chair makers, and immerse themselves in the world of woodcarving.

Locals will show how traditional foods, sweets, and drinks are prepared, as well as the process of baking bread in a wood-fired oven, honey production, and much more.

The festival includes a wide range of children’s activities, such as a theatre workshop, a treasure hunt, face painting, and an inflatable castle. Festival-goers will enjoy live traditional music and dances.

Spend creative time in Gourri by visiting the two community museums (the Folk Art Museum and the Bicycle Museum), the Church of Agios Georgios, and the old fountain.
