The Larnaka Cinema Society presents a free open-air screening of the beloved French classic Amélie at the Pierides Museum Courtyard in Larnaca, Cyprus, on Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Screening begins at 20:30 sharp, followed by a 15-minute film discussion.
Amélie is a shy Montmartre waitress who lives in her own richly imaginative world. When she accidentally discovers a hidden childhood trinket box in her apartment, she sets out to return it to its owner — and the unexpected joy this brings sparks a secret mission: to quietly change the lives of those around her through small, anonymous acts of kindness. But will she find the courage to become the heroine of her own love story?
Romantic Comedy | 2001 | 122 minutes | French with Greek subtitles | Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet
