About This Event
The opening night of the 12th Art & Culture Festival in Agios Theodoros, Larnaca, Cyprus, is dedicated to the flavours of traditional pasta and local culinary heritage. Taking place on Friday, 31 July 2026, at the Exoraisemeni Koiti Potamou (Beautified Riverbed) from 19:00, the event promises a festive evening of food, folk dance, and live music - all with free entry.
Visitors can take part in hands-on workshops for the preparation, baking, and tasting of traditional Sklinitzi-style pasta, as well as demonstrations of Hondrofide with tomato sauce and the classic Tri with milk. Traditional local products will be on sale, and food and drink stalls will be available throughout the evening.
🎶 The Pendaschinoς Folk Dance Group will perform traditional Cypriot dances, and the night will culminate in a big traditional glendi (celebration) featuring live music by Stefanos Pelekani.
The event is held under the auspices of the Larnaca District Officer, Mr. Odysseas Hatzistefanou, and is organised by ANETЕЛ within the framework of the LEADER programme.
