The 19th Festival of Traditional Dance, Choirs and Orchestras

For the 19th year, Larnaca welcomes the Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dances, Choirs and Bands, an important cultural institution that has become a major celebration of tradition, music and dance, bringing together different cultures and traditions.

Events in Larnaca will take place from 11 to 13 September 2026, at the Finikoudes Stage, with performances starting daily at 8:00 p.m.

This year's event features groups from many countries abroad, as well as 15 Cypriot groups from all regions of Cyprus, presenting a rich and diverse programme of traditional dance and music. The programme also includes parades and morning events at central locations around the city.

The Municipality of Larnaca supports the event and contributes to showcasing cultural heritage, tradition and cultural exchange, while strengthening the city's international cultural character.

The 19th Mediterranean Festival of Traditional Dance invites residents and visitors to a special three-day celebration filled with music, dance, colour and tradition, in the heart of Larnaca.
