About This Event
The picturesque village of Kato Dris invites everyone to one of the island’s most colourful autumn festivals.
The event aims to revive and showcase the region’s cultural heritage.
What’s on the programme:
Delicious hands-on workshops: see for yourself how hot palouze (grape mousse), traditional trahana, healing carob syrup and sweet shushuko are made, and watch the authentic distillation of fiery zivania.
A cultural immersion: a unique exhibition of vintage wedding dresses, a fair featuring handmade items and local artisans.
A festive atmosphere: live traditional music and lively folk dances.
A cultural bonus: on this day, all the village’s museums and main attractions can be visited completely free of charge.
