Nomades is a band that performed at the 21st Traditional Music and Dance Festival in Ormideia, Cyprus, a celebration of traditional music with street food and festivities.
A unique traditional Cypriot glenti (folk celebration) comes to the parking area of Agios Fanourios Church in Aradippou, Larnaca, on Sunday 12 July 2026 at 18:30. This celebratory evening in Cyprus is dedicated to Cypriot heritage and tradition, bringing together families and communities through live music, folk dancing, and authentic flavours.
Live traditional music will be performed by the folk ensemble «Nomades», featuring violin, lyra, and drums, filling the evening with the sounds of Cyprus and the broader Greek musical tradition. Traditional dances and songs will take centre stage, alongside the beloved Cypriot customs of «mouzoman» and «tripsion» — a playful, authentic touch that keeps the spirit of village celebrations alive.
