2nd Larnaca Film Festival

The Larnaca Film Festival is back for its second edition from August 27 to 30, bringing an exciting mix of outdoor cinema, live music, educational workshops, and walking tours to parks and squares across the city. Organized by the Larnaca Film Club and supported by the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Larnaca Municipality, this year’s event features an expanded agenda, including the cross-cultural Common Ground Cinema Experience in collaboration with Larnaka2030 and the Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival.

The festival kicks off on Thursday at the Larnaca Municipal Garden with a concert by the Aurora String Quartet at 8:00 PM, followed by a screening of La Belle Époque. Over the weekend, attendees can look forward to filmmaking workshops for educators and teenagers at the House of Letters and Arts, guided neighborhood walking tours led by Andria Efthymiou, and diverse film screenings at Mesogeios Park, Salina Park, and Zouhouri Square.
The four-day celebration will conclude on Sunday night with a live concert by Kontovourkis & Co. Admission to all festival events is free, though online registration is required for the workshops. For more information and updates, visit larnakacinema.com.
