About Cyprus Handicraft Service
Government-run centre under the Deputy Ministry of Culture, established in 1975 to preserve and promote traditional Cypriot folk art. Features 8 working workshops where visitors can watch artisans practising embroidery, lace-making, weaving, basketry, woodcarving, pottery, metalwork and leather-making. Also includes an exhibition hall, gift shop and small café. Hosts craft events and workshops open to the public.
