Is the performance held outdoors?

Yes, the Pattichio is an open-air amphitheatre. A light layer is recommended for the evening breeze.

Are children allowed?

Children under 6 years of age are not permitted at adult performances, in line with the Sofia Opera and Ballet policy.

Are ticket changes or cancellations allowed?

No. Changes of date, time or seat and cancellations are not permitted under the organiser's policy.

How long is the performance?

The ballet runs approximately 2 hours with one intermission.

About This Event

The legendary ballet set to the music of Mikis Theodorakis is back on stage. This time — in Larnaka, under the starry sky of RG Pattihio Forest Park Amphitheatre.

Last year 4 500 spectators gave the open-air production a standing ovation in Cyprus. Now the legendary ballet returns for just two evenings.

On stage — Sofia National Opera and Ballet, principal dancers from the Bolshoi Theatre and the Kazan State Opera and Ballet Theatre, choreography by Lorka Myasina. This is the same ballet that has toured more than 40 countries and attracted over 3 million spectators.

"It is the best thing I have seen in Cyprus," spectators said after last year’s performances.
